In Edge of Antarctica, sweeping fields of white, charcoal, and sand tones suggest the stark openness of the polar landscape. Embedded ceramic fragments of Laguna Azabache clay, merge with the painted surface, forming a rugged ridge that recalls fractured ice and ancient rock. The interplay between smooth paint and raw texture creates a powerful sense of movement at the boundary of land and frozen sea.
